Closing & Possession

At the settlement table you will be meeting with the settlement facilitator, seller, seller representative, and your buyer representative. You can expect an agenda similar to the following:
  • Resolve remaining walk through issues
  • Approval & signatures on the settlement statement
  • Finalization of purchaser's title insurance (if desired)
  • Seller's signature on the deed
  • Purchaser signs loan documents (loan application, truth in lending statement, note, deed of trust, etc.)
  • Purchaser tenders the check and receives keys and possession
